With passion for TONKATSU

What's TONKATSU?

Tonkatsu is a beloved Japanese dish consisting of a breaded and deep-fried pork cutlet. Its main appeal lies in the contrast of textures: the crispy, golden-brown exterior and the tender, juicy pork inside. The combination of these textures creates a satisfying and delicious bite. Served with shredded cabbage, steamed rice, and a savory tonkatsu sauce, the dish is both simple and flavorful. The sauce adds a rich, tangy element that complements the pork perfectly. Tonkatsu is comforting, hearty, and versatile, making it a favorite for many in Japan and around the world.

Our Promise

The concept behind OSAKA TON KATSU is "as if cooking for family."  No shortcuts--just carefully prepared food made with love.

In the Sakamoto household, the owners of the restaurant, TONKATSU means pork tenderloin--the true taste of Mon's cooking.

While most associate TONKATSU with pork loin, at OSAKA TON KATSU we use tenderloin.

It's a lean cut with minimal fat, yet retains high moisture and fine texture--so you get a tender, juicy bite without the heaviness.

For our chicken katsu, we use thigh meat, carefully trimming excess fat and sinew, and preparing it to ensure even frying--just like we would for our family.

Whether it's pork tenderloin or chicken thigh, our crispy, juicy TONKATSU is sure to have you hooked!

What's so special?

It's authentic.
At OSAKA TON KATSU, we are committed to serving only freshly fried and freshly made dishes, all prepared in-house, using finest ingredients, many of them imported from Japan.

Pork tenderloin for TONKATSU and chicken thigh for CHICKEN KATSU.

With a crispy, juicy bite, our TONKATSU is sure to keep you coming back for more!
